Schoodic Education Adventure

During October the 7th grade went on a three day two night trip to the Schoodic Education Adventure program. This program was created by National Park Rangers that are assigned to Acadia National Park. The purpose of the program is to use the resources of Acadia National Park as an outdoor classroom to help students learn. Students took a Geology Hike, a Night Hike, Worked with GPS units, did an Art project, participated in a Mock Archeology Dig, did some Marine Investigations (tide pooling) and even got to do a little hands on Marine Chemistry.
